Overview:
We are delighted to partner with a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Midlands, seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting 6-month contract opportunity within an established Quality team that values collaboration, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
The Role:
As a Senior QA Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with GMP regulations and overseeing core quality operations to support a sterile manufacturing environment. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a progressive and forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily QA line support in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring compliance with quality systems and processes.
- Oversee and manage CAPAs, deviations, batch record reviews, and change controls to maintain operational excellence.
- Support environmental monitoring (EM) activities and ensure cross-functional collaboration for effective oversight.
- Conduct batch release reviews and support documentation to facilitate compliance and product disposition.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality management systems (QMS) and promote adherence to site standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a regulated GMP environment within pharma, biopharma, medical devices, or a similar sector.
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience managing CAPAs, deviations, and overseeing quality operations.
- Prior experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring (EM) processes and experience collaborating with cross-functional departments.
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven individual with excellent attention to detail.
