This is an exciting time to join a well established global business as it develops itself into new markets. This permanent role will report into the Quality Manager and work alongside the wider Quality team supporting global innovation and renovation projects.
This is a predominantly office based role, based in Dublin city and offers hybrid working. There will also be an element of travel to the role where you will be supporting co-packers and co-manufacturers across Europe and Asia (about 15% travel) from a quality and compliance perspective.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be an influencer of the Food Safety and Quality Culture
- Ability to identify process deviations through data and results analysis:
- Review, document and report quality and food safety data of product produced by the current co-packers and service providers
- Review Analytical and microbiological results
- Review data related packaging integrity data
- Review data of label verification and compliance
- Ensure management control of documentation and records across the organisation
- As required; perform quality inspections to co-packers:
- Ensure compliance with 21 CFR 117-cGMP's (including Pest Control, Sanitation (zoning, EMP), Personnel, etc.
- HACCP/ Food Safety Compliance
- Food Defense Program verification
- Foreign Supplier Verification Program- Import and Export
- Track and analyse quality data to identify GAP' s against quality requirements.
- Management of Change (MOC) and Continual Improvement database owner and program compliance
- Perform market quality audits
- Perform co-packer proficiency test
- Maintain Sensory Program
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- At least 4 years' experience in food or beverage manufacturing
- Solid understanding of microbiology and how to interpret micro results is advantageous
- Document control management experience
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis (tools and processes)
- Packaging experience is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Sanitation in manufacturing process: CIP and COP
- Assertive, yet collaborative. Good communication skills
