Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our sustaining automation team. You will be responsible for supporting the DeltaV DCS automation system, ensuring reliable system performance, and integrating it with other essential systems. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external engineers to meet business and process requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and review of system deliverables, including design documents.
- Implement Automation Change Controls on the DeltaV DCS system.
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
- Contribute to the development of the site's automation strategy and lifecycle support.
- Assist with procedure development and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and provide troubleshooting support.
- Coordinate work to meet tight deadlines and ensure equipment performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in automation systems support, preferably in biotech or pharma.
- Strong knowledge of the DeltaV DCS system, project delivery, and operations support.
- Experience with S88 Standard, GAMP lifecycle, and GDP documentation practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
