This Sourcing Manager will manage and optimize sourcing strategies for external suppliers along with playing a pivotal role in category management, negotiating supplier agreements, mitigating risks, and driving value creation for the business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage relationships with external suppliers, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance standards.
- Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and regular reviews to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
- Define and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and enhance supplier efficiency.
- Monitor market trends, risks, and opportunities to ensure a resilient and competitive supply chain.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost structures.
- Ensure supplier agreements are compliant with regulatory standards and aligned with business requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations) to align sourcing decisions with product requirements and project timelines.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure contracts comply with global regulatory frameworks.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record in managing external suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimizing sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical raw materials, APIs, and excipients sourcing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
