This client focuses on delivering expert, client-focused advice across all areas of taxation. They work with a diverse range of clients, including Irish and international corporations, family-owned businesses, professional partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, and more.

The Role
- Engaging with key clients regularly to build and maintain relationships.
- Drafting client advisory letters and memos under the guidance of the tax director. Recent advisory examples include:
- Tax reliefs for transferring family businesses to the next generation.
- Tax implications of relocating to a new residence.
- Tax reliefs applicable to the sale of a business.
- Conducting tax due diligence.
- Liaising with clients and Revenue on various matters.
- Representing clients in Tax Appeals Commission (TAC) cases.
- Conducting in-depth research on complex taxation issues across multiple tax heads.
- Preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns to ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
- Supervising and mentoring tax trainees.
- Participating in internal training sessions to maintain and enhance technical knowledge.
The Ideal Candidate
- A Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification.
- Irish Tax experience with a focus on personal or corporate taxation.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and highly organised, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Skilled in interpreting complex tax legislation.
