Our client is one of Ireland's largest law firms, known for being forward-thinking and innovative, the firm keeps pace with the changing times is looking to hire a Technology and Innovation Associate lawyer. This is why it is trusted to represent some of the most exciting Irish and international tech suppliers, as well as companies and public bodies looking to leverage their technology.
If you have 3-6 years of relevant PQE from a top or mid-tier law firm, or you have experience in an interesting in-house role-or perhaps you are returning to Ireland-we would love to hear from you.
The successful applicant will advise on the following:
- Broad commercial contracts, with experience gained in private practice or in-house, particularly in technology, outsourcing, distribution, agency agreements, and software licensing.
- A deep understanding of Irish and EU data protection law, with substantial experience advising on data protection regimes and compliance at a senior level.
- Expertise in IP advisory work.
- Experience with strategic due diligence and related transaction work in the areas of IP, technology, and privacy.
- Familiarity with e-commerce/consumer laws and/or gaming and gambling laws.
- A commercially focused mindset with well-developed analytical and drafting skills, including preparing briefings and presentations.
- A personable approach, with the ability to act as a lead advisor and client contact point, and to foster client relationships.
- Assisting with continuous professional development, including the preparation of CPD presentations.
