Morgan McKinley are delighted to partner with a large drinks manufacturer based in Wexford as they look to hire a new Production Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate for this role will have five years experience within production operations and will be available to work on site five days a week.
This role operates on a two-cycle shift, the hours of the shift cycle will be: 7am-3pm and 2pm finish on Friday/3pm-11pm and 9pm on Friday.
Key Responsibilities : (Associates may be assigned additional duties as needed to ensure flexibility and operational efficiency.)
- Execute production activities related to materials handling, processing, blending, filling, and labeling.
- Maintain batch records in compliance with FM Quality System guidelines to uphold product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare manufacturing equipment prior to use to ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient operation.
- Operate machinery as required to ensure proper ingredient packaging.
- Adhere to Company GMP policies and procedures by keeping manufacturing equipment in sanitary condition to guarantee product quality.
- Perform final quality checks and inspections for accuracy and visible damage before shipping products to customers.
- Safeguard Company trademarks by protecting all confidential information related to proprietary ingredients and flavors to prevent unauthorized disclosure.
- Protect intellectual property, information, and technology surrounding confidential processes and products by following established legal protocols to maintain trademark security.
Skills and Experience required:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in Food/Beverage/Pharma environment
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Aptitude for operating machinery and equipment
- Aptitude for computers and demonstrated computer literacy
- SAP experience is an advantage
- Familiarisation with SCADA systems and functionality is preferable
