We are partnering with a leading public sector organisation to recruit a Social Impact Fund Development Manager on a 2 year fixed term contract!
Role Requirement 1: Service Delivery
- Conduct a needs assessment of key stakeholders to guide the Social Impact Fund Implementation Plan.
- Oversee the development of a 12-18 month implementation plan and support fund design and rollout.
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Contribute to position papers and national consultations as appropriate.
- Promote the Implementation Plan through media and social media.
Role Requirement 2: Support for key statutory body
- Assist the statutory body and executive team in implementing the plan.
- Recommend actions based on stakeholder consultation and best practices.
- Prepare an Annual Work Program for approval and provide scheduled updates to leadership.
Role Requirement 3: Stakeholder Engagement
- Attend and report at Oversight & Advisory Committee meetings.
- Participate in regular meetings with the statutory body and maintain communication with leadership.
- Coordinate with management and communications teams, and ensure efficient resource use.
Role Requirement 4: Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Head of Unit and senior staff on related initiatives.
- Adhere to internal reporting requirements and attend relevant meetings as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years in social/public policy or advocacy roles.
- Proven experience with senior management and policy/strategy development.
- Knowledge of public programs, project management principles, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent report-writing, negotiation skills, and MS Office proficiency.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in disadvantaged communities and large-scale project management.
- Commitment to social impact and understanding of support services for topical subjects.
- Proficiency in Irish is a plus.
Qualifications
A Level 9 (Master's) qualification or equivalent is preferred.
