Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, inspection, and repair of radiation and medical devices.
- Explain product maintenance contracts to customers and manage renewals.
- Propose and process new service contracts to strengthen client relationships.
- Acquire and apply new technical knowledge and product repair procedures.
- Ensure reliable equipment performance through customer-focused problem-solving and continuous learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years as a Field Service Engineer in the medical device industry.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, servicing, or repair of medium to large medical devices.
- Experience working with radiation medical devices is highly preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level (required for client communication and documentation).
- English: Basic level (for technical manuals and internal use).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Certified Medical Device Technician qualification preferred.
- Experience in customer-facing service or support roles for medical equipment.
