- Collaborate with domestic and international teams to ensure smooth payment processes.
- Oversee accurate and timely invoice processing and system data entry.
- Prepare daily payment schedules and monitor fund availability.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required information and documentation.
- Lead the implementation of the global finance system (SAP S/4HANA) and related projects.
- Manage a team of 10+ members, ensuring strong performance and development.
Required skills
- Extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP) operations - minimum 5 years.
- Proven people management experience, including team supervision and mentoring.
- Background in the retail industry.
- Proficiency with financial systems like SAP.
- Business (or native) fluency in both Japanese and English.
Preferred skills
- Experience in finance process improvement and standardization initiatives.
- Work experience in global organizations.
- Expertise in data handling, analysis, and project management.
- Professional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
