Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging English copy for internal training programs and e-learning modules
- Translate business and training documents accurately between Japanese and English
- Edit and proofread original and translated content for clarity, tone, and consistency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to meet training goals
- Maintain and revise content as business needs evolve
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in copywriting and translation, preferably in a corporate setting
- Native-level Japanese writing and editing skills
- High-level English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Experience handling business documents such as internal reports, policies, or manuals
- Must currently reside in Japan
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for language precision
- Clear communication and teamwork capabilities
