Join a leading global tech firm as a Cyber Security Specialist, where you'll play a key role in assessing and improving data security frameworks across enterprise information systems. This role allows you to work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, and data governance teams to shape secure and compliant data integration across both internal and outsourced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess system management frameworks to ensure alignment with internal security policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct security reviews of data integration schemes, including those involving third-party or outsourced systems
- Review data usage requests by validating purpose, data type, process method, and associated systems
- Support data classification workflows, form reviews, and escalation to compliance or review committees
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and governance teams to uphold security best practices
- Promote secure data usage and awareness across teams and platforms
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in information security or related IT projects
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure: networks, authentication, servers, endpoints
- Hands-on experience with structured data systems like RDBMS and DWH
- Direct experience implementing and operating cybersecurity solutions
Soft Skills:
- Logical thinking and analytical approach to security assessments
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage documentation and reporting
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native or fluent
- English: Business level (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent)
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- Information Security Specialist certified by Japan's IPA
