Development Lead (Haken)

Must be in Japan with a working visa! Japanese fluency needed.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a team of software engineers, offering technical direction and mentorship.
• Plan and oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Work cross-functionally to meet technical requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
• Research and implement new technologies, develop technical solutions, and document processes to enhance capabilities.

Required skills

• Over 5 years of experience in IT leadership, software development, and technical roles, including expertise in IT strategy, cost management, and methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage global teams and projects using Agile practices and tools such as VS Code, Postman, JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with fluency in English and Japanese (JLPT N2+) and a track record in the insurance and banking industries.
