Seeking a skilled Finance Manager with retail expertise to lead financial strategies for a globally renowned luxury brand.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the FP&A team and shared service teams to establish and monitor sales targets and budgets.
- Provide thorough analyses of performance metrics, market trends, and cost controls.
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on retail and wholesale performance, ensuring data accuracy.
- Manage expenses, including COGs, operational costs, and depreciation, to maintain financial balance.
- Facilitate monthly and annual financial closings in alignment with accounting standards.
- Support audits, compliance processes, and inventory control measures.
- Lead financial planning for store openings, refurbishments, and relocations.
Required skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in a global or multilingual setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP or equivalent.
- Native-level proficiency in Japanese and strong business-level English communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to financial details and forecasting.
Preferred skills
- Experience managing and mentoring junior members is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of luxury or retail industry standards and market dynamics preferred.
