We are seeking a Financial Business Consultant to lead strategy and transformation initiatives within the financial services sector.
This role focuses on shaping the future of banking, securities, and asset management, working from high-level strategy through execution and long-term value creation. You will collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver impactful transformation projects while driving sustainable growth across the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise-level and business unit strategies and transformation roadmaps for financial institutions
- Support DX, data utilisation, and business process reform to improve top-line growth and productivity
- Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives from strategy design through execution and adoption
- Act as Project Manager, guiding teams to deliver measurable outcomes
Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and lead proposal and advisory activities
- Contribute to new business and service development and cross-industry initiatives
- Support organisational growth through global collaboration and talent development
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Professional experience within financial institutions or consulting firms
- Hands-on involvement in projects related to strategy, business transformation, DX, or data initiatives
- Experience leading or driving initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
- Project or team management experience
Soft Skills:
- Strong ability to structure complex challenges and solve them logically
- High-level communication skills, including the ability to engage confidently with senior executives
- Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, opportunity-driven approach
- Collaborative mindset that values diversity and team success
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
