Roles/Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day legal activities supporting banking/finance products in Japan.
- Provide legal advice on complex regulatory matters and resolve moderate legal issues.
- Draft and review contracts, legal documentation, and internal policies.
- Supervise external counsel and handle resource allocation for legal cases.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
Required skills
- 6-10 years of legal experience in banking/finance sectors.
- Admitted to the Bar in Japan.
- Native Japanese speaker with fluent English (written and spoken).
Preferred skills
- Experience in a large law firm or international financial institution.
- Strong communication, drafting, and analytical abilities.
