Roles/Responsibilities
- Ensure 4M matrix compliance and customer approval for product/process changes.
- Verify compliance with CIP and build-in quality standards, using SPPC tracking sheets
- Confirm LLC usage and adherence.
- Update quality documents for product/process changes.
- Support supplier progress checks with purchasing and collect issues/alternatives.
- Participate in design reviews, including supplier design reviews.
- Support SQA and purchasing teams for defined activities related to internal/external suppliers at company's sites.
Required skills
- A bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field.
- Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing engineering.
- An understanding of the general requirements of quality system standards such as ISO TS16949.
Preferred skills
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Basic knowledge of statistical methods and process control techniques, and proficiency in using computers and software applications related to quality assurance activities.
