This role provides global exposure, collaborating with customers and factories to drive quality improvements in the automotive industry.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Coordinate communication between Japanese customers, the wiper division's Chinese factory quality team, and R&D sites.
- Respond quickly to quality issues in collaboration with company's resident engineers.
- Support quality improvement activities at Chinese production plants.
- Conduct audits at customer sites in China and manage regular supplier quality meetings.
- Manage 4M matrix for production and process changes, ensuring customer approval.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards built around continuous improvement processes.
- Support updates to quality-related documents and assist with internal/external parts quality support.
Required skills
- Native-level Japanese proficiency, business-level English proficiency.
- Problem-solving skills, including PDCA and 8D, as well as communication skills between customers and the Zhejiang factory.
- More than 2 years of experience in quality operations.
Preferred skills
- Strong communication skills to coordinate between customers and the China factory.
- Proficiency in various quality tools.
- Experience in quality management within the automotive industry (handling market issues and factory quality issues).
Personal Attributes
- Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
