Manage full-cycle monthly payroll for multiple client companies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Act as the primary contact for client payroll inquiries, system configurations, and setup changes.
Coordinate with internal HR teams, tax advisors, and social insurance consultants to maintain compliance with Japanese laws.
Prepare, maintain, and update payroll manuals, checklists, and client documentation.
Review and optimize payroll processes to align with global standards and improve efficiency.
Support year-end tax adjustments, social insurance filings, and other statutory reporting.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance client experience and streamline payroll workflows.
Minimum 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, or social insurance operations.
Hands-on experience with Japanese payroll systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
Highly detail-oriented with strong data management and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
Japanese: Fluent (required for client and government communication).
English: Fluent (required for internal and global collaboration).
Experience working in multinational or foreign companies.
Familiarity with global HR systems and payroll automation tools.
Overseas experience or exposure to international HR practices.
