The Client is a renowned shipping carrier with strong presence globally, looking to grow their logistics team further.

 

Job Scope

The role involves overseeing container inventory, and managing empty container flow and cost efficiencies.

 

Responsibilities

· Manage regional container control, balances and inventories.

· Anticipate demand, container forecast, arrange and oversee the distribution of empty containers.

· Coordinate empty positioning space and quantities for respective accounts.

· Track container forecasts and manage operational efficiency for the organization.

· Plan contingency equipment supplies and analyze container movement and activity.

· Oversee container costs and other cross-border international obligations.

· Support and manage operations, container newbuilds procurement and container equipment.

 

The Ideal Candidate

· Bachelors Degree in Maritime, Business Management or any related discipline.

· More than 4 years of background in the Container shipping business with experience in container flow and equipment management.

· Experience in logistics management in a shipping carrier.
