They are currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Semi-Senior Accountant to join the team.
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients. You will work closely with senior staff members and gain valuable experience in a variety of areas within accounting and audit.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assisting with audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
- Performing bookkeeping and management accounting tasks.
- Preparing tax computations and returns.
- Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of current accounting and auditing standards.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA) or actively pursuing qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within an Irish practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with Irish tax legislation.
- Familiarity with audit software (e.g., CaseWare).
