Service Manager - Glanmire, Cork

Are you passionate about sustainable technologies and energy efficiency? Ready to take the lead in a growing service department with a company making a real impact? We're seeking a skilled and proactive Service Manager to join our client's expanding team.
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the service department-managing day-to-day operations, responding to service calls, and supporting department growth. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys technical challenges and developing efficient systems.
You will work alongside the current service engineer, support complex jobs, and help drive the department forward. Full training on all technologies will be provided.
Oversee scheduling and completion of all service jobs efficiently and on time
Attend service calls as needed, especially for technical or backlog jobs
Commission heat pumps (full training provided)
Provide technical guidance to the service engineer
Review service reports for accuracy and clear communication with clients
Manage parts ordering and stock control
Handle invoicing and ensure prompt billing
Support department growth through direct sales and e-tender applications
Prepare and present monthly profit and loss (P&L) reports
Recruit and manage additional service engineers and support staff as needed
F-Gas certified
Full, clean driver's licence
Fluent in English
Desirable:
Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
Strong computer skills
