Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the layout and organization of the warehouse and storage areas, considering factors such as turnover, size, weight, and the nature of stored items.

• Play an active role in recruiting and onboarding warehouse staff.

• Manage operations in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Ensure adequate operational resources to deliver high service levels without compromising efficiency.

• Address complaints, issues, and operational failures promptly, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders and thorough documentation.

• Oversee the routine maintenance of equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations.

• Plan, direct, schedule, and assign tasks for warehouse staff to maintain an organized workflow.

• Provide guidance to employees on the proper handling, storage, and shipping of items, emphasizing preservation and care.

• Collaborate with other departments to enhance efficiency and foster a cohesive work environment.

• Monitor and implement cost-control measures to maximize gross profit and contributions.

• Maintain the operational reliability of warehouse equipment and other company assets.

• Serve as the escalation point for operational challenges within the station's activities.

• Train employees on specific duties and support their professional growth through coaching and mentorship.

• Proactively suggest and implement process improvements to streamline operations.

• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure alignment and efficiency.

• Uphold best practices in health, safety, quality, and security within the team.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the operation.

• Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
• Practical knowledge of safety and security protocols and procedures.
