Assistant Finance Funds Accounting Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to step into a dynamic and rewarding role as an Assistant Finance Manager. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting fund operations while gaining exposure to a broad range of financial and investment activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct in-depth due diligence on loans and alternative investments.
· Review partnership agreements and ensure accurate financial reporting.
· Oversee loan administration, including interest calculations and repayments.
· Manage financial reporting and NAV reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
· Prepare accounting journals and quarterly reports for key stakeholders.
· Lead the year-end valuation process with external auditors.
· Ensure compliance with financial controls while driving process improvements.
· Take the lead on projects, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with tax advisors.
Experience & Qualifications
· Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a Finance or Accounting degree.
· Proven experience in managing a finance team.
· At least 5 years' experience in Fund Accounting, including Private Market and Hedge products.
· Experience with Portfolio Management Systems is an advantage.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger applications (e.g., Infor SunSystems).
· Solid grasp of financial controls and regulatory compliance.
