Finance Business Partner
About the Role:
Our client, a well-known telecommunications provider, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to collaborate with senior management and drive business performance through high-quality financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to influence business performance and financial decisions.
- Provide financial advice to support strategic choices and business growth.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and resource allocation.
- Challenge spend plans and drive service delivery improvements.
- Investigate high-risk financial issues and advise on solutions.
- Coach and support leadership in financial accountability and decision-making.
- Ensure effective capital allocation and financial performance monitoring.
- Lead monthly financial reviews with senior leaders, including the CFO.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting.
- Own the monthly cost FP&A processes for senior leadership review.
- Coordinate across business units to ensure alignment and optimize financial performance.
- Review business cases and support investment decisions for high-return opportunities.
- Maintain controls and adherence to relevant financial guidelines (e.g., US GAAP).
About You:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Strong financial planning and systems skills (Excel, Oracle, Hyperion).
- Experience in financial modelling and analysis desired but not essential.
- Ability to simplify complex financial data for clear communication.
- Previous business partnering experience is a plus.
