    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Tax Manager to join the finance team of a leading company in their industry.

    Reporting directly to the Director of Tax, this role is ideal for candidates with Big4/Top10 training who have advanced to Manager or Senior Manager level, or those with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a tax-focused role within an industry setting.

    The position involves providing comprehensive support to the tax team and broader internal business functions, with a focus on direct and indirect tax initiatives.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual U.S. and international tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Support U.S. and international tax matters, including preparing technical tax memorandums and calculations on topics such as valuation allowances, Pillar Two, thin capitalization, FATCA, and permanent reinvestment assertions.
    • Conduct research on tax issues and ensure compliance with all applicable income tax laws, while staying updated on new and emerging tax legislation and technical developments.
    • Prepare tax analyses and assist with special projects as required.
    • Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax filings.
    • Provide support for M&A activity at various stages of transactions.
    • Aid in the implementation of software solutions to streamline and automate the tax function.
    • Prepare global transfer pricing documentation and manage intercompany financing transactions, including identifying financing requirements within the group.
    • Oversee tax matters for special-purpose entities.

    Education & Skills Requirements

    • Qualified Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.
    • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a large corporate tax environment, preferably in the biotech/pharma sector, Big 4, or a similar organization.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve complex tax issues.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
    • Proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines, with flexibility to adapt to project demands
