Manage Toyota relationship, drive sales strategy, lead negotiations, coordinate visits, and ensure profitable growth through cross-functional collaboration.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the relationship with Toyota, ensuring smooth communication with the head office.
- Support global RFQ coordination and ensure consistent selling prices worldwide.
- Finalize negotiations with Toyota regarding business acquisition, annual productivity, and raw material pass-through.
- Handle communication in crisis situations to protect customer relationships.
- Coordinate important customer visits and collaborate on Innovation Tech Days with Product Marketing and R&D.
- Contribute to sales strategy (CDP & MTP), track market performance, and support management decisions with potential scenarios.
- Oversee regional commercial objectives, sales, pricing, and growth for Toyota, managing all related activities in Japan.
Required skills
- Ability to manage and be the preferred interface between Toyota and the head office.
- Experience in coordinating global RFQs and ensuring consistency in selling prices worldwide.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or project management, particularly with Toyota Japan.
Preferred skills
- Contribute to sales strategy, including CDP & MTP, and track market and competition indicators.
- Regional commercial objectives management, including growth, turnover, market share, order intake, and price management.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, R&D, and other internal teams, and manage customer visits.
