Looking for a bilingual CFO candidate for a multinational wholesale company.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company-wide financial goals, including Japan headquarters and overseas subsidiaries.
- Create and manage the annual budget, ensuring optimal fund allocation and cash flow management.
- Secure necessary funding through methods such as bank loans and stock issuance to support business growth.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders, analyzing data to propose investment and expansion strategies.
- Manage financial risks, including market, exchange rate, and credit risks, by executing risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and optimize tax strategies in collaboration with accountants.
- Plan and support M&A activities, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with corporate objectives.
Required skills
- Native Japanese and Business-level English proficiency, with the ability to create financial statements in English and communicate internally with the international members, as well as foreign shareholders.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, management accounting, and budget control.
- Management experience within the finance department and in a business company (any industry).
- Demonstrated experience in leading financial strategy and execution at a managerial level.
- Possession of one of the following qualifications: USCPA, Bookkeeping Level 1, or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
