Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and budgets for the Japan business.
- Report on business performance, financial forecasts, and key metrics to management and global headquarters.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analysis to track performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Perform ad-hoc business analysis and benchmarking to support key decision-making.
- Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to drive financial strategy and planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial closing (FP&A experience preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent (Required for internal and external communication).
- English: Intermediate to Business level (For reporting and global coordination).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the financial industry, especially insurance.
- Understanding of regulatory financial reporting.
