Key Responsibilities
- Pre-match and confirm urgent trades, ensuring timely allocation and settlement.
- Handle client, counterparty, and trader inquiries, providing prompt and accurate support.
- Maintain and update account information to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze and resolve trade exceptions, ensuring accurate books and records.
- Proactively manage unmatched and failing trades by coordinating with internal teams, agent banks, and counterparties.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and internal policies.
- Safeguard client assets by maintaining proper trade and account segregation.
- Continuously identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk exposure.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of trade execution and settlements.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with a strong risk management mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with traders, clients, and counterparties.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent (required for internal and external communication).
- English: Intermediate to Business level (for reporting and global coordination).
