Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily settlement operations for FX, money market, and derivatives products.
- Lead implementation of new products and ensure end-to-end coordination across clients, front office, and back office.
- Support team leads in ensuring timely and accurate execution of operational processes.
- Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and overseas offices to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and enforce strong internal controls.
- Conduct periodic reviews to drive cost efficiency, process improvements, and service quality enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in securities operations, including trade support, settlements, client services, or operational efficiency.
Certifications:
- JSDA qualification or Internal Control Manager (内部管理者) certification required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, basic formulas).
Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Clear and professional communication in both English and Japanese.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in process optimization, cost control, and change management.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and cross-border environment.
