A leading medical device company is seeking a KOL Strategy Manager to design and implement strategies with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) that drive innovation in patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with medical affairs, academic partners, and healthcare professionals to advance treatment guidelines and support educational initiatives in cardiology and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, manage, and execute KOL strategies across Japan.
- Partner with Medical Affairs and leading academic institutions to co-develop evidence and contribute to clinical guideline updates.
- Act as the central point for KOL and region-specific strategy, coordinating unified messaging and medical education initiatives for healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Engage cross-functional teams to align objectives and track measurable impact.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and thought leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders.
- Sales experience in cardiology (preferred but not required).
Technical and Strategic Skills:
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and adapting to dynamic environments.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and drive outcomes.
- High integrity and ability to embody the company's core values.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Intermediate to Business-level

- Familiarity with academic institutions or medical societies in Japan.
