Key Responsibilities

• Assist in contract review, drafting, and administration for commercial agreements, NDAs, and real estate leases.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with privacy laws, brand services, and intellectual property regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to resolve legal disputes, customer claims, and property issues.
• Prepare materials for internal legal training and oversee company registrations and contract management processes.
• Identify and mitigate legal and reputational risks, adapting to evolving business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• Legal background with corporate legal department or law firm experience.
• Knowledge of Japanese legal licensing (Lawyer, Judicial Scrivener, Administrative Scrivener) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of business experience handling legal and compliance matters.

Technical Skills:

• Strong contract management and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Native (Required).
• English: Intermediate to Business level.
