Roles/Responsibilities
Payroll Management:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes for Japan, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Stay updated on Japanese labor, tax, and social security regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Prepare and submit required reports to government authorities with accurate documentation.
Required skills
- Proven experience managing payroll operations in Japan, ideally in an international or fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Japanese labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office tools (especially Excel).
