Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination, structuring, and execution of trade and structured trade finance transactions.
- Manage and expand relationships with Japanese corporates and multinational clients, driving business growth and revenue.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve regional trade finance objectives.
- Ensure smooth execution of transactions while maintaining legal and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Credit, Legal, Risk, and Operations to deliver seamless trade finance solutions.
- Oversee deal pipelines, client coverage, and cross-product coordination with global offices.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years in Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or Structured Trade Finance.
- Proven success in originating and executing trade finance transactions with large corporates.
- Experience in a global or major Japanese financial institution.
- Strong understanding of trade products, credit structures, and cross-border financing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios and internal stakeholder coordination.
