Syndication Banker - Associate to Vice President

Join a global corporate bank as a Syndication Banker, driving loan syndication and structured credit initiatives in Tokyo

Roles/Responsibilities

• Manage loan syndication activities, including communication with debt investors, structuring deals, and overseeing loan distribution processes.
• Conduct underwriting analysis, prepare syndication documents, and execute syndications across project finance, asset finance, and corporate finance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of syndication and distribution activities.
• Prepare and submit regulatory and internal reports to maintain compliance with local and international standards.
• Contribute to market analysis and strategy development to support the bank's syndication business growth in Japan.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and investors to maximize business opportunities.

Required skills

• Up to 6 years of experience for Associate level or 8-14 years for VP level in loan syndication and structured credit.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency are required.
