A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Talent Management Manager to lead and execute strategies across performance management, succession planning, and career development. This role plays a key part in strengthening organisational capability and supporting long-term business growth in Japan. You will work closely with senior business leaders in a global and collaborative working environment, shaping talent initiatives that align with both local and global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to identify, analyse, and define talent management challenges and needs
- Propose, implement, and manage improvement initiatives, including reviewing and enhancing existing talent management processes
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of talent management programs
- Develop user manuals and plan and deliver training sessions for employees and managers
- Propose, drive, and support system enhancements to improve program effectiveness and user adoption
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or related HR functions
- 2-4 years of experience in a managerial or people leadership role
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or highly regulated industries
- Exposure to global or regional talent management initiatives
