Office Manager - Cork City Centre
Salary: €60,000+ DOE | Permanent Full-Time Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Office Manager to join a dynamic team in Cork City Centre. This role is focused on ensuring an efficient, engaging, and safe working environment for staff while overseeing the management of Legal Support teams. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all legal support and operational staff, including reception, canteen, and porter services. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and annual reviews.
- Foster a collaborative team culture, ensuring staff work effectively together and provide mutual support.
- Coordinate and manage daily workloads to meet deadlines, reallocating duties as necessary, and managing staff leave and absences to ensure adequate cover.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cork office, ensuring a professional, efficient, and safe environment in collaboration with third-party suppliers and contractors.
- Organize and manage staff and client events, including client breakfasts and team lunches.
- Work with team leads on seating plans, desk allocations, trainee rotation programs, and parking assignments as needed.
- Assist with the implementation of administrative systems, such as health and safety policies and training programs.
- Act as a point of contact for staff to raise concerns, resolving issues and escalating them as necessary.
- Take on additional responsibilities or project work as required.
Background & Experience
The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-driven, and dedicated to enhancing the employee experience within the office. 3-5+ years experience in Office Management, EA, or People Management positions is a must to be considered for this role. Knowledge of the legal industry advantageous but not a requirement.
