New contract assignment available for a Project Engineer to implement a highly capable and effective manufacturing process. You will be responsible for providing technical & engineering maintenance and calibration support involved in delivering equipment/fixture type solutions that result in optimum manufacturing practices.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the introduction and validation of new equipment.
- Work with Value Streams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement - automation, vision systems, robotics etc.
- Work with Product Development to help establish the equipment requirements for new products.
- Engage with external vendors to review equipment proposals, vendor selection and capital approval.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production/engineering issues.
- New equipment validation; Ensuring that Maintenance and Calibration requirements are built into new equipment specifications.
- Transfer and validation of equipment from other sites.
- Help debug production issues with automated equipment.
- Ensure relevant documentation is prepared and updated in line with all Quality and Regulatory guidelines and promotes full compliance to all GMP and E&AS requirements.
- Skills, Attributes & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline.
- 3-4 years experience in a similar role within a GMP regulated environment.
- Prior experience working within Medical Devices will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to work within a collaborative team environment
- Proven ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
- Strong technical aptitude and problem solving abilities
- Cork based role with 5 days a week onsite requirements
- Feb/March 2025 start
