Job Title: Business Development Director- Growth and Solutions
Location: Ireland (Hybrid)
This role is open to a variety of locations such as Cork, Dublin or Belfast. The successful canditate will be required to travel to meet clients & there is office locations in Cork & Dublin.
About the Role:
Our client, a leading solutions provider, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Director to join their Growth team in Ireland. Reporting to the Customer Solutions Managing Director, this role is crucial in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the Irish market. The role involves enhancing client value propositions, building key partnerships, and leading customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business within target markets, guiding leads from generation to deal closure.
- Build and maintain credibility with key clients, fostering long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with bid management teams to develop top-quality solutions and proposals.
- Conduct industry research, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
- Track and report on personal growth targets and pipeline progress.
Key Attributes & Experience Required:
- 5+ years in business development, sales, or similar roles in the Irish market.
- Experience in service-based, SaaS, or IT sales is advantageous.
- Proven track record in lead generation, relationship building, and meeting revenue goals.
- Background in strategic sales, management consulting, or partnerships preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- Effective communicator, able to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Data-driven problem-solver with a proactive and resourceful attitude.
- Ability to build trust by delivering high-value, client-focused solutions.
- Full Irish driver's license required.
