Our client, a leading MNC in Kilkenny is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on a 12mth contract. In this role, you'll support the full recruitment lifecycle while taking ownership of graduate and internship recruitment initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you'll work as part of the broader HR team, partnering with HR Business Partners and Line Managers to deliver best-in-class internal and onsite recruitment support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of graduate and internship recruitment, in collaboration with the Talent Development team
- Support university and campus hiring campaigns: CV screening, interview coordination, and participation
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the requisition and recruitment process
- Manage candidates through the ATS (e.g., Success Factors), from sourcing and shortlisting to scheduling and offer
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, liaising with candidates and hiring teams
- Conduct interviews and provide feedback to support hiring decisions
- Complete all pre-employment steps, including reference and background checks, medicals, and documentation
- Work with preferred recruitment agencies as required
- Administer and interpret psychometric assessments
- Prepare and extend offers, including contracts and onboarding documentation
- Provide timely feedback to candidates and agencies
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and contribute to regular reporting
- Support ad hoc recruitment projects and initiatives across the business
- Collaborate effectively across functions and levels within the organisation
Key Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a similar recruitment role
- Proven experience in a fast-paced recruitment environment, ideally with high-volume hiring
- Previous experience as a graduate recruiter
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS tools (e.g., Taleo, SAP/Success Factors)
- Experience in the food or manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all levels
