My client based in South Tipperary is seeking a HR Manager to join their growing organisation. As HR Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of Human Resources activities on site. This includes developing and executing HR strategies aligned with operational goals, driving employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
This is a permanent, full-time position based entirely on-site, operating Monday to Friday that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for all employee-related queries and concerns, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manage employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution in line with policy and employment law.
- Support and implement employee engagement initiatives that align with business goals and values.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition function to manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Work with line managers to identify staffing needs, define role requirements, and promote the organisation as an employer of choice.
- Support the delivery of performance management processes including appraisals, development plans, and constructive feedback.
- Partner with department leads to identify training needs and support upskilling programs, with particular focus on operational standards and compliance.
- Oversee accurate HR records, including employee data management, absence tracking, and HRIS updates.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation to minimise risk.
- Collaborate with operational teams to maintain and promote health and safety standards across all site activities.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior HR leadership on key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, training, and employee performance.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR role, ideally within a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in managing recruitment, employee relations, and engagement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels.
- Discreet, professional, and capable of handling sensitive HR matters with confidentiality.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant HR tools.
