Morgan McKinley are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Leader to manage complex projects from inception to completion at one of our client's Limerick site. This 12-month hourly rate onsite contract requires a strategic leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration, ensure project alignment with business objectives, and deliver results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Assemble and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.
- Motivate and guide team members to achieve project milestones and goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
Stakeholder Communication & Engagement:
- Act as the main liaison between project teams and stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project deliverables.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and address project risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project success.
Quality & Process Improvement:
- Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and incorporate best practices into project management processes.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project reports and insights to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 7-10 years of experience in project management with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
- Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with GMP and GDP standards is desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
