Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations for cash equity, equity derivatives, and equity finance, ensuring accurate trade capture and risk management.
- Coordinate trade flows and ensure timely processing of equity transactions.
- Work closely with traders, sales teams, and back-office operations to facilitate smooth trade execution and settlement.
- Monitor equity trading positions and ensure compliance with risk exposure limits.
- Liaise with technology teams to enhance trading system integration and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to middle office staff, fostering collaboration and excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- At least 7 years in middle office operations with a focus on equity trading.
- Strong knowledge of equity products, derivatives, and financial markets.
Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent.
- Japanese: Intermediate to Business level.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership abilities to manage and mentor a high-performing team.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the trade life cycle, including trade capture, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Experience with trading platforms, risk management systems, and financial software.
