A globally recognized investment bank is seeking a Junior Yen Rates HF Sales professional to drive sales of Yen Rate Products with a focus on Japanese Government Bonds (JGBs) and Swaps. This role offers the opportunity to work with onshore and offshore hedge funds, central banks, and sovereign entities, providing market-leading solutions and developing strong client relationships in a dynamic trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Yen Rate Products, including JGBs and Swaps, to institutional clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with onshore and offshore hedge funds, central banks, and sovereign clients.
- Collaborate closely with trading and research teams to provide market insights and tailored solutions.
- Monitor market trends, client needs, and regulatory developments to identify new sales opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality client coverage, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of Yen Rate sales experience in an investment bank based in Japan.
- Strong understanding of fixed income products, including JGBs and Swaps.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in global markets front office sales strategies and execution.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level (written and spoken).
- English: Fluent (business-level proficiency).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in fixed-income markets.
