As the HR Director for Japan, you will play a critical role in shaping the people strategy for the company's fast-growing organization.
Roles/Responsibilities
- HR Leadership: Lead the HR function in Japan, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and delivering on local business needs. Provide leadership and direction to the HR team, ensuring a high standard of HR service delivery.
- Strategic HR Partnering: Collaborate with senior leadership and business unit heads to provide strategic HR insights, workforce planning, and support in achieving business objectives.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Drive talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent in the competitive tech market. Implement leadership development programs, succession planning, and career growth initiatives to develop internal talent.
- Employee Engagement: Champion employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive work culture. Conduct regular employee surveys and develop action plans to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Change Management: Lead organizational development initiatives, including change management strategies and programs that support business transformation and employee adaptability.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance review processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and promoting a high-performance culture across all levels of the organization.
Required skills
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or Head of HR role within a multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of Japanese labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in strategic HR leadership, driving organizational change, and leading HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
