Key Responsibilities
- Oversee KYC onboarding and periodic renewals for private and corporate clients.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate issues preventing KYC approvals.
- Assess risk factors such as sanctions to support the Sales team.
- Verify client documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with Global and APAC teams on KYC-related inquiries and case completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in KYC, Client Onboarding (COB), or regulatory operations.
Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and risk assessment within investment banking.
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Fluent (required for regulatory and client communications).
- English: Intermediate to Business level.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Financial services experience in securities, banking, insurance, or fintech.
- Familiarity with JSDA, CAMS, or other regulatory frameworks.
