Job Purpose
11 month contract FTC - A great opportunity for a newly graduate with a Communicaitons degree looking to kickstart their career or a Communications Executive with 1-2 years experience.
As part of the Media, Communications & Branding Team you will support the implementation of the communications, media and branding plan of the organisation contributing to its overall objectives.
You will support the team to ensure delivery of effective communications to the organisation's members and stakeholders. This includes the development of member newsletters, publications, social media activities and critical business websites. Assist in the setup of consumer campaigns and website content.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the management and implementation of the organisation's Communication Strategy.
- Supporting the creation of and review of newsletters, webpage articles, social media and other publication.
- Supporting the creation and review of content for consumer information hub and its campaigns.
- Supporting the creation and review of content for the website.
- Support the Manager of Member Services, Communications and Branding on various initiatives e.g. Member surveys
- Undertake all duties in line with the organisation's policies and procedures and all its legal obligations.
- Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required
Skills & Requirements
- University level education or equivalent practical experience, preferably in an area related to communications, branding, digital marketing, marketing or PR.
- Interest in communications, digital marketing & branding.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Well-developed administrative, organisational, time management & planning skills that deliver quality work in line with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
- Able to create and support productive working relationships working collaboratively both internally and externally.
- Personal drive and integrity and able to demonstrate initiative when managing issues and projects
Desirable
- Experience in working with EU or domestic institutions or the financial services sector.
- Experience with desktop publishing software (e.g. Canva, PPT) and social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
- Experience in working in communications, PR or Media
