A growing player in the Asset Management industry is seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to lead and execute critical security initiatives across its IT operations. This role offers the opportunity to influence security strategy, enforce compliance, and work hands-on with the latest cloud and infrastructure technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats and vulnerabilities; apply appropriate controls and tools
- Investigate security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and provide timely remediation
- Configure and manage secure infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection
- Automate security monitoring and compliance checks across infrastructure environments
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 3-5 years of proven professional experience in IT security
- Background in Asset Management or Financial Services is a plus
- Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure security
- Proficiency in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
- Proactive mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently and in fast-paced environments
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Fluent
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to navigate and communicate effectively in multinational teams
- Familiarity with security automation tools and compliance frameworks
- Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud and DevSecOps environments
