Having recruited in the finance and accountancy arena for over 10 years now I have extensive local candidate knowledge (Northants, Beds, Bucks) at a newly qualified level onwards and deal with a wide variety of local SME and blue chip companies.

My Advice

It’s important to keep an open mind and explore the various options available. Each business is different to the next, with complexities and teams varying within: speaking to your recruiter in depth and attending interviews is the best way to find out about the dynamics of each prospective employer and how well suited you are to them. When looking for a new opportunity, be sure to take everything into consideration; culture, leadership, the scope of the role and progression. Even if you are not actively looking for a new role, it is always good to build a good relationship with a recruitment partner to find out what’s happening in the market.
